Catching lizards at the campsite in France or looking for vipers on Dutch heathland, Jonne Seijdel (1985) has been inspired by nature since his early childhood. As soon as he could read, the nature guide was his favorite book.
He went to study at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and made his breakthrough with a nature photo captured during his internship in India. The photo of a green vine snake received multiple awards and was published in National Geographic Magazine.
Jonne now works for clients such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and Wageningen University & Research and as a photographer he travels the world in search of areas with a balance between man and nature. With his photos, he shows the close relationship between them.
